Meet Rafaela

Hi, I’m Rafaela Abeso Nchama, an interior designer and the founder of Interiors Abeso. I’m based in London and work with landlords, developers and property investors across the UK.

My interest in interiors began when I was a teenager in Spain, watching home transformation programmes with my mum. I loved seeing how much a space could change and the difference it could make to someone’s everyday life. After moving to Belfast at sixteen, I explored photography, art and colour before moving to London to study Interior Design, graduating in 2024.

Alongside my design experience, I’ve been developing my knowledge of property investment, including HMOs, rent to serviced accommodation strategies and property deal analysis. I wanted to understand the numbers behind a property, including return on investment (ROI), budgeting and how investors asses a deal and decide where it is worth spending money.

​

This has shaped the way I approach interior design. I don’t just think about how a property looks. I consider what’s worth keeping, what needs improving and where the budget can make the biggest difference, while always thinking about who will live in or use the space.

I started Interiors Abeso because I believe interior design is about more than making a property look beautiful. It’s also about solving problems within a space. Whether it’s an awkward layout, a tired room or the challenge of choosing the right furniture, every decision  should have a reason behind it.

Working with me is personal and collaborative. I’ll listen to your ideas, talk you through my recommendations and help you create a property that is practical, considered and something you can genuinely feel proud of.
